What Is Cellulite?

Many believe cellulite to be caused from weight gain.

In fact, it is caused by dehydrated, damaged skin.

Dr. Murad has discovered that cellulite occurs internally with the weakening of the skin cells and connective tissue.

“My research shows that if we are to repair cellulite and stretch marks, we need to focus on repairing the skin, not on burning fat.

By simply getting key hydrating, cell-fortifying nutrients to our skin we can rebuild, re-hydrate, and revitalize our skin, forcing stubborn fat cells back invisibly below the surface – and keeping them there. ”

Dr. Howard Murad

When I first read Dr. Murad’s book, I was quite surprised at his theory, but the more I read, the more it all made perfect sense.

So I decided to put his theory to practice and I followed his Anti-Cellulite plan for 8 weeks. Now when I say I followed it, I don’t mean I followed it religiously.

I followed it “loosely” and I was still amazed at the results. Was my cellulite completely gone? No, it wasn’t, but it was dramatically reduced. My skin was tighter, softer, smoother and less “dimply”.

Following is my brief article that includes the overview of the Cellulite Reduction Plan based on “The Cellulite Solution” written by Dr. Murad.

Cellulite Reduction Plan by Eva Remming

If you're a woman then more than likely you have some cellulite.

Maybe just a bit, maybe way too much for your liking. Either way I bet you'd like to get rid of it and restore smooth, dimple-free skin.

I have some good news for you: You can reduce your cellulite, but it will require some effort and dedication on your part.

First of all you have to start eating properly and drink plenty of water. Avoid junk food, sweets and processed foods. Instead eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit.

The next step is to provide your skin with adequate nutrition that it desperately needs to heal itself. There are vitamins especially formulated just for cellulite reduction and skin health.

Exercise comes next. Try to get off the couch and get moving at least 3 times a week. If you hate exercising take up walking, biking or swimming.

Stretching is also very beneficial. It not only elongates your muscles, but it also increases your circulation. It does wonders for cellulite reduction. Stretch at least 5 days a week for about 5-10 minutes at a time.

Skin massage and dry skin brushing are also very important factors in your cellulite reduction quest. Both will invigorate your skin and increase your circulation, facilitating toxin and excess water removal.

Dry skin brushing is best done before your shower, while skin massage could be done right after drying off. It's important to apply a good skin moisturizer before massaging.

Lastly, anti cellulite creams will assist you in providing your skin with good topical nutrients and cellulite fighting ingredients. It's best to apply the creams twice a day.

If you follow this anti cellulite plan, you should see a major improvement in your skin texture in about 6-8 weeks. Your cellulite will be much less visible and you'll be ready to show off your legs with confidence!

Why I love this book:

  • There are recommendations for supplements with a detailed explanation of why you need a specific supplement
  • It includes a plan for external skin care

As I mentioned above, this Cellulite Program did wonders to my thighs and butt and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s sick and tired of covering up in the hot summer months.

Quote of the Month

“If you want to be truly happy, cultivate indifference about what others think of you. It doesn’t matter if they believe you’re foolish, stupid or even intelligent. The point is, beware of how you view yourself.”

Epictetus

Tip of the Month

Did the nail polish leave your toe nails yellow? Apply some white vinegar to get rid of the yucky tinge.

My Exciting News

My husband and I are expecting a new baby this month! My official due date is February 20. Once the baby arrives I will not have much time to put into running this website, so my husband and sister will take those duties for a while.

So don't be surprised if this E-Zine comes from Brian Remming.
