Beauty Tips

For softer, smoother legs

Are you looking for beauty tips to detoxify and beautify your legs?

You can accomplish that by applying simple and inexpensive masks, wraps or other home made concoctions.

I tried many different home treatments for softer, smoother skin, and I found some especially beneficial, in my opinion.

Now I want to share them with you.

So read through them, try them, and I hope you'll love them as much as I do.

Seaweed wrap

Seaweed is great for reducing swelling in your legs as well as detoxification.

You can buy a seaweed mask in a drugstore and apply it to your legs after a nice relaxing bath. Cover it with plastic wrap and a warm towel.

Relax for 10-20 minutes and rinse it off.

Clay or Mud mask

This simple mask will remove the toxins accumulated in your skin and will give your legs a healthy glow. You can buy a clay or mud mask at the drug store or even better at the health store.

Another option for a cheap clay alternative is kitty litter. Yes, kitty litter! If you decide to give this inexpensive idea a try, make sure it's labeled "100% natural clay" and is free of clumping materials, additives or chemicals. To use it take a handful and reconstitute it with water and when it looks like mud, apply it to your legs, leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse it off.

Or you can mix clay with plain yogurt, about ½ a cup of each. Apply it and let it dry then rinse it off.

Almond mask and scrub

  • ½ C finely crushed almonds

  • 1/4 C uncooked oatmeal

  • 2 tsp. brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp. honey

  • 1/4 C hot water

Mix it all together, apply to legs and leave it on for 10 -15 min. Then massage it in and rinse off.

Overnight Soft Skin Solution

Mix some petroleum jelly with a couple of pure vitamin E capsules and apply the mix to your legs. Throw on a pair of cotton tights and go to sleep. Your skin will be soft as baby's bum in the morning! Just don't forget to apply body lotion after you shower.
