Exfoliate Your Legs
To smooth your skin
Exfoliate Your Legs shows you inexpensive but great ways to get rid of your dead, flaky skin and make the way for soft, smooth legs.
When exfoliating, start at your ankles and work your way up toward your butt, in circular motion.
You can purchase a body scrub in a drug store or you can use any of the easy alternatives, that are very inexpensive and easy to create at home.
So check out my favorite ways to exfoliate the legs and enjoy your glorious skin!
Deluxe Body Scrub
- ½ C brown sugar
- ½ C fine sea salt
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp almond oil
- 1 tbsp jojoba oil
- 1 tbsp kaolin
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vitamin E oil
- 1 tbsp of your favorite essential oils ( add 2 or 3 )
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
The easiest one and also my favorite:
- Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon
- Mix with approximately ½ C of regular granulated sugar
Almond mask and scrub
- ½ C finely crushed almonds
- 1/4 C uncooked oatmeal
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1/4 C hot water
Mix it all together, apply to legs and leave it on for 10 -15 min. Then massage it in and rinse off.
The cheapest alternative yet!
Take some cool coffee grounds from your morning coffee and rub them on your legs.They are not abrasive, yet they will exfoliate your skin wonderfully.Keep in mind though, that it will get messy!
Mix a handful of your regular oatmeal with some water to create a thick paste.Rub it into your legs and rinse it off.
Another great alternative to rub on your legs, that will invigorate you. Just make sure you mix it with water, before you apply.
This will remove dead skin without drying out your legs.Invest in a bath brush or a loofah and massage your legs in a circular motion before your shower.
