Healthy Diet Menu


Get healthy and lose weight!



This healthy diet menu sample is a replica of my daily menu. You can design your own based on your food choices and your lifestyle.

Since I was breastfeeding, my daily calorie allowance was 2000 per day, therefore every meal equalled to approximately 400 calories.

Please, do not limit yourself too much! If you feel like you have to satisfy a craving for something sweet or “junky”, don’t necessarily stop yourself. Instead have a small portion, like 1 piece of chocolate or one cookie or few chips. Just do not binge!

8 AM

  • 1 egg and egg white omelette
  • 1 piece flax organic bread
  • Few cashews OR almonds OR slice of cheese

11 AM

  • protein shake with 1 cup 2% milk
  • Large salad with chickpeas and flax oil/lemon dressing

2 PM

  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 cup organic brown rice OR 8 organic flax crackers
  • 3 caps of fish oil

5 PM

  • chicken breast OR lean beef OR salmon
  • Yams OR brown rice OR potatoes
  • Steamed vegetables
  • Fresh veggies like salad OR carrots OR cukes
  • Dab of butter OR sour cream OR shredded cheese to spice up my veggies or Potatoes

8 PM

  • ˝ cup cottage cheese (1%) with a handful of blueberries OR other fruit
  • 1 cookie or piece of chocolate or other “junk” food to satisfy my cravings.
  • Few nuts of choice

Apart from these choices, I snacked on carrots, celery sticks, red pepper, cucumber etc. throughout the day.

I only drank 1 cup of coffee in the morning and the rest of the day was (and still is) water, water, water!

I also took multi-vitamin supplements I bought in health food store.
