Home Remedy For Stretch Marks
To minimize their appearance
Are you looking for a home remedy for stretch marks?
If you noticed the ugly lines appearing on your legs and other parts of your body, you're probably quite distressed about it.
Is there anything you can do to minimize their appearance, without spending thousands on cosmetic treatments?
The answer is: Yes you can.
But the quicker you act, the better. The new stretch marks that are still pink or red, respond better to any treatment. Once they heal and turn white, they're much harder to reduce.
So what exactly can you do?
First of all you have to provide your skin with all the essential nutrients that it needs to heal itself.
To accomplish that you must consume healthy, well balanced diet. And of course don't forget to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to keep your skin well hydrated.
Another step in stretch mark reduction is skin massage.
This action proves very beneficial, but keep in mind that you have to use a good, rich lotion or cream to do it, to avoid skin irritation.
Traditionally the emollient of choice for stretch marks has been the cocoa butter.
Another option is to use a rich moisturizing lotion of your choice and mix the vitamin E into it. You can break open a vitamin E capsule, or buy vitamin E in a liquid form.
Massage the affected areas for 10-15 minutes in circular motion, once or twice a day preferably after a shower, when skin is still damp.
You will not see results overnight, but if you do it consistently and if you provide your skin with the necessary nutrition to repair itself, you will see the positive results you're looking for.
