Pedicure Your Way To Great Feet

To complement your great legs!

Great feet go hand in hand with great legs.

The pedicure page is dedicated to getting your feet in their best shape ever.

Rough heels, chipped nail polish, callouses and cracked toe nails are not very attractive to say the least. And don't fool yourself.

People do notice these things.

And if your feet are not in their best shape, your overall leg appearance will suffer too. Great legs need great feet! So lets get our feet in a great shape!

Many women neglect their feet. They stuff them in tight shoes, don't trim their toe nails properly and don't bother pampering them, the way they deserve to be pampered. After all it's your feet that carry you around all day and they get tired.

Pedicure is a great way to get rid of dry, rough skin and relax your tootsies. And the great news is that you don't have to head to the salon to have it done, although it's always nice to have someone else massage your feet. But if you don't want to spend the money, then you can easily do it in the comfort of your own home.

Here is the step by step guide to your own pedicure

  • Soak your feet in warm soapy water for at least 10 minutes. You can add special foot soak solution that you can buy in any drug store or just add some soap. I also like to add a drop or two of my favorite essential oil. Another option is to add some sea salt and olive oil to soften up and moisturize the rough skin.

  • Dry your feet off and using a pumice stone or a special foot file, shave off the rough skin especially on your heels.

  • Trim your nails with clippers. To prevent ingrown toenails make sure you cut them in a square shape.

  • Push back your cuticles, using an orange stick. Please refrain from cutting them off as they are necessary for keeping the bacteria from entering your skin.

  • Apply some nice peppermint foot lotion (or your favorite lotion) and massage your feet in long strokes from your toes to your ankles.

  • Finish off with some nice nail polish of your choice. Clean your nails with some remover to eliminate oils. Start off with base coat followed by two coats of a colored nail polish.

Voila!

You are done and your feet are refreshed, relaxed, and ready for a pair of cute sandals or flip flops.

And talking about cute sandals or shoes, don't you just love how they dress up your legs? If that's the case, then I've got a perfect web site for you!

It is all about women's shoes! Sandals, flip-flops, high heels etc.
