Squats



Squats are an excellent exercise for toning and shaping thighs and butt muscles.

  • Stand with your feet shoulder width apart

  • Bend your knees and lower your body until you're almost in a sitting position

  • Hold briefly

  • Lift yourself up tightening your butt muscles

Do 10-15 reps and repeat up to 3 sets if able

Tips:

  • You can place a chair behind you and lower your bottom until you almost touch the chair. This will prevent you from leaning forward.

  • To balance yourself better, keep your arms outstretched forward when lowering your bottom down.

  • For added resistance you can hold weights in your hands.
