• you can buy a home kit and do it yourself.

So if you are brave and decide to do it yourself ...

Follow these tips:

• Make sure your hair is at least 1/8 inch long for the strips to adhere properly.

• Follow the directions when warming up the wax. Make sure it's not too hot or it will burn you, but it needs to be warm enough to spread easily.

• Spread it on your legs with provided spreader, or tongue depressor.

• Apply the strips over it , and rub them with your hands, in the same direction as your hair growth.

• Pull the skin taut before pulling the cloth off.

• Pull the cloth off as quick as you can, in the opposite direction of your hair growth.

• You can scream NOW and then...

• Enjoy your smooth, hairless legs.

Important tip:

You might want to avoid pulling your hair out:) right around your period time. Your pain threshold is lower at that time of the month, so it will hurt even more.

When you apply wax, it adheres not only to your hair, but also to your skin. Therefore some people experience some degree of sensitivity to it. I am one of those people. My skin gets really red and itchy for a few days.

If that's your problem too, then I recommend you try sugaring instead. With sugaring, the sugar paste does not attach to your skin -just to your hair, so you will avoid skin irritation.
